Tell'em

Hello guys. I don't know what will be the next move for my blog (other than my birthday posts and my March Madness review {btw, Sweet 16 and Elite 8 will start tommorow}), but I will still tell you something. Today, I will share with you what stories that I think. I don't know if it will be a hit or a miss. I hope just like my other blogs, you will gonna appreciate this so without further ado, let's start this.     Let's start with a sports story. These stories are in the same universe where the names, players, and coaches are fictionalized, no COVID so you can expect crowds in my stories. This will focus on three sports,   American football, basketball, and ice hockey. First, the American football story will focus on a coach who was from an FCS or Football Championship Subdivision team (trivia: there are two Division 1 subdivisions in NCAA. One is Football Bowl Subdivision and the other is the aforementioned FCS. In my story, I will just go...

Birthday Post #4: Music Preferences

What's up guy. I'm here to continue a blog series about my upcoming birthday. In several weeks I will be an adult. Today, I will share with you what I like and my preferences in music. Favorite genre, artist, album, etc. Hope you will enjoy this blog so without further ado, let's do this.     An interesting fact about me is I have been listening to music since I was in the womb of my mom. My mom plays either the tape of the musical score of the blockbuster movie "Titanic" (including "My Love Will Go On") or a CD of Journey's greatest hits. And then, when I was young, I've noticed that my mom and my dad play or sing in a videoke of some rock and R&B music. I remember that when we used to have a great Nokia Keypad Phone (that has a metal covering and NBA stickers for good measure), they always listen to Aerosmith, Goo Goo Dolls, or Guns N' Roses. And hey, I remember when I danced to the tune of  Guns N' Roses' "Sweet Chil...

Anything to Prove But Nothing to Lose

Hello guys. After I wrote one of the longest blogs ever, I'm here for another serious blog. Today I will share with you some of my not-so-good traits. I hope you will gonna enjoy this so, without further ado, let's do this.     I think all of you know that I am the type of guy who always wants to prove something. Like every day that I will face someone, I want them to think that I am, if not one the best. I always want to prove to people that I could be the best that they could see. I know some of you think that it is bad to do so I'm sorry, but I guess we should always aim for the best and outwork our past selves. I always do this thing especially when I feel embarrassed because I feel that I don't deserve to be laughed about. I also do this to my crush and former crushes to prove to them that I am worthy too, even if I am believing that love will be at the right time of my life. I don't just use them as an inspiration to be handsome and better looking (w...

El Labandero's March Madness Upset Picks

What's up, guys. I know you are used to seeing me write about my life, but today, I will try my forte, sports. So today, I'm a sports analyst, who also does his laundry, my name is El Labandero. I'm here to share my upset picks for the most-awaited and most-anticipated basketball tournament of the year, the 2021 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, also known as March Madness. So without further ado, let the faucet open.      I have watched March Madness for a long time now, and every year, there is some kind of thing that is too unexpected, only a few people predicted it. This is called upsets. An upset happens when the lower-seeded team (as low as #16) beats a higher-seeded team (as high as #1) in their region (64 teams overall {68 if you will include teams from the First Four, a seeding game} divided into 4 divisions {West, East, Midwest, and South} and the winner of these regions will face at the Final Four and the last two teams standing will face a...

The Nerve of Being Confident and Flamboyant

"Do I look nervous?" - Jordan Binnington, Goaltender for the St. Louis Blues (2019)     How's it going, folks? I am here for another blog. Today, I will share with you some of my thoughts about being confident and flamboyant. As long as I remember, I have wrote about this before, but this is a detailed and updated version. Also, I want to share my advice to ease tension and nervousness. I hope you will enjoy it so, without further ado, let's get this started.     Along with being intelligent, being confident is one of my most present traits of all. All of the people that I know will say to you that I am confident. But here's a catch, I am only confident in some people that I know, but not in other people. I always use my confidence every day (I mean EVERY DAY), especially in school. I raise my hand, I am super active, I also use it when I answer quizzes and tests, and I always want to join quiz bee, and when I join, I also use my confidence to answer the questi...

Birthday Post #3: The Many Names Of Ramuel

Good day guys. I can't upload some blogs these past days because of weak a** signal but today, we will continue my "Birthday Post" series talking about a funny topic. Let's explore the names that are called to me in these past years. Some great and some are super hilarious. I hope you will enjoy this so, without further ado, let's get this thing rollin'.     From the time that I was born to Grade 6, I was called by one name, RB. It's obvious to call me by that name because that is the acronym of my first name (Fun fact: No offense to my Grade 11 adviser because she is amazing but, she doesn't know that nickname). I guess some of my teachers when I was in elementary called me by my first name of Ramuel or by my last name of Cruzada (it could be difficult to identify because my cousin is also my classmate unless you will ask the teacher). Some disturbing and awful people just called me pig (because of my size), or Spongebob and Bugs Bunny (both beca...

What I like in Sports Designing

Good day guys. I am back after another layoff. Today, I will tell you my thoughts and what I like to do in designing some sports paraphernalia. I think you will not shock to see this because I'm not just a sports fan, but I am also a Grade 12 Information And Communications Technology student. Without further ado, let's do this.     To be completely honest, a casual and even a die-hard sports  fan doesn't care about the logo and uniforms of his or her team unless the team is winning, and that is the most important thing as a sports team. I can end my blog here, right? No, No, No, No (in Dikembe Mutombo's voice). As an ICT student, I am starting to have care and attention to the logo and the uniforms of the teams that I watch. Like my Cleveland Browns who brought back the uniform design that the fans love and I love it (because the former uniforms, like the team, sucks), and the most important part, they won a playoff game for the first time since 1994. ...

Teacher's Favorite

Hello guys. I'm back like I never left. I'm back after a one-day layoff. Today, I will share a funny story with all of you. I will also share some of my thoughts about that story. I hope you will enjoy this so without further ado, let's get this going.     Based on my observations and understandings, I noticed that every year, I am the teacher's favorite in our section. Don't get me wrong my past and present classmates, but I see, I observe, and I feel it. I have been observing it for the past years. For example, when the teachers need some students in something, I will be one of the students to be called, or I will be the one to be called if they need attention to another student or in some sorts, I will be the guy who will buy the food of that teacher. Another example is this school year. I don't like to sound cocky, but I am the most popular student in our section (number 2 I guess is my handsome 21-year-old friend who lost in the SSG election) so all of ...

Letting You Go

Hello guys. This is the time. This is the damn time. To let go of my feelings to a girl that I loved. I just want to forget her. I think this could be the hardest blog to write, but still, I will give my best to write this. Without further ado, let do this.     This has been in process in my mind in the past few weeks. I think what is happening to me right now is happening to me in the past. Like I've done anything that I could do, but still not pay off. She has said to me that to never hope for anything, but look at me, I'm still hoping, but now I have nothing. Look, I have no words about my feelings for that girl so this could be so short (and sorry for the wrong grammar). I think I've made up my mind to let her go.      To that girl, hi. How are you? I know you have been busy  these past few days so this is the only thing that I can talk to you about. To be clear, I have no intentions to make some trouble with you. I think I just want...

Birthday Post #2: Built By Sports

What's up guys and gals of all ages. Just like I've told you, this blog will be positive. This blog post is a part of my month-long birthday celebration. Today, I will tell you how sports became a part of my life and what are my favorite sports team. I guarantee you, this will be a fun and happy blog. Without further ado, let's get it started.     To be honest,  sports are a part of my life since day one. It became a part of my life since I was born when my mom and dad agreed to name me after one of the greatest basketball players of all time, Kobe Bryant.  Also, I was almost named after Reggie Miller too, who is one of the best 3-point shooters of all time and one of the best color commentators on T.V right now but, it is also the name of my what could be my brother if he didn't die because of miscarriage, so they decided to just name me after my father (Romel became Ramuel) and to Kobe Bryant. The backstory is my dad is a former basketball playe...

Used and Left

Good day guys. In the next two weeks, you could expect some content coming from me. I really love to continue this because some people are super-duper supportive of my blogs (shoutout to my former and present classmates). Today, I am here to share my frustration with the people that I know. It is hard to say this to you but I will try my best to tell my frustrations to you. Without further ado, let's go.     To be completely honest, I am frustrated with some of my friends. I'm sorry to tell you but, I've noticed that you only talk to me when you needed me and some of you are A.W.O.L when I need you. To be clear, I know some of you are busy (I think that is one of the disadvantages of being an intelligent student. You are too fast to answer some tests), but some of you didn't bother to say "Hi. How are you? Are you feeling good?". And hey, some of the friends that I know will just ask something about their module and when you answer them, they will not gonn...

Birthday Post # 1: Being a Section B Student

Good day ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, gays and tomboys of all ages. Today, I am here to share another story with you. To start, this is all about my old section and what I have done in that years. This will also kick start my month-long birthday celebration. Without further ado, let's get this started.     Just so you know, from the first two weeks of my Grade 7 days (I was promoted to Section A when I was Grade 7) to Grade 10, I was in Section B. Section B is the second to highest section  (but some teachers don't consider it). My section is full of intelligent, industrious, kind, and beautiful, and handsome students and I am privilege to be part of that family (shoutout to them even if they are too busy rn). My Grade 7 days started well, and then after I was promoted to section A, it started a downward spiral trend in my life. My grades look like it was practicing social distancing before it became a thing and it also looks like a mouth of a hocke...

Just Rest and Relax

"Cause I've seen love die Way too many times When it deserved to be alive" - Paramore (Emergency, 2005)     Good day guys. I know all of you are busy today (well, I was meant to be busy, but answering my modules in advance makes my task manageable), but I am here for another blog. Disclaimer, this blog will be a serious tone, so be ready. I hope you will enjoy this, so let's get this started.     Some of my beloved readers know what is the purpose of this blogsite. This is my medium to release my negativity and my bad feelings and now, I am feeling it. I'm not feeling okay. To be honest, I'm tired of being in a one-sided love and being rejected. Yeah, to be clear, I am a hopelessly in love guy that is still in love with someone that rejected him. The situation of my heart and feelings right now is like a broken teacup that has been repaired because of duct tape. In my case, my heart is broken, but it is repaired by the love of my family and friends, the Vegas ...
