Tell'em

Hello guys. I don't know what will be the next move for my blog (other than my birthday posts and my March Madness review {btw, Sweet 16 and Elite 8 will start tommorow}), but I will still tell you something. Today, I will share with you what stories that I think. I don't know if it will be a hit or a miss. I hope just like my other blogs, you will gonna appreciate this so without further ado, let's start this.

Let's start with a sports story. These stories are in the same universe where the names, players, and coaches are fictionalized, no COVID so you can expect crowds in my stories. This will focus on three sports,  American football, basketball, and ice hockey. First, the American football story will focus on a coach who was from an FCS or Football Championship Subdivision team (trivia: there are two Division 1 subdivisions in NCAA. One is Football Bowl Subdivision and the other is the aforementioned FCS. In my story, I will just gonna call them to their former name, which is 1-A and 1-AA respectively) named California A&M Colts (real name: UC Davis Aggies) and was fired because he has problems with the Academic Director, then he will take his talents to a 1-A  named Newtown Ramblers (real name: UConn Huskies) who finished 1-11 before he takes over. Can he turn around the program? The next one, a basketball story that will focus on an assistant coach from a basketball powerhouse (in my universe) named Gainsville Crocs (real name: Florida Gators) who will take over to a team named New York Baptist Flames (real name: Colgate Riders {fun fact: one of the 13 trustees who founded this school was William Colgate, the founder of Colgate-Palmolive Corp.}) with talented junior college players and 3-star freshman coming. What will happen to them? Lastly, in ice hockey, this will focus on a team called Alabama Tech Rockets (real name: Alabama Huntsville Chargers, who in real life struggle to have money because of COVID, but because of donations, especially by its alumnus, Minnesota Wild goaltender Cam Talbot, they have just ended their season recently) who is coming off another losing season and they are losing money, and they will promote their assistant coach, who is a local boy to be their head coach who will turn their team around because of gritty and aggressive offense. I want to tell some sports stories, especially American football and ice hockey because I want to introduce this sport to other people. I want to help in growing and popularize some sports here in the Philippines. Let's now proceed to the next one, shall we?

Next, some supernatural and superhero stories. These stories will take place in a COVID world. The first two will be like a series because it will center on a guy that has supernatural powers coming from his grandpa. This guy will help two girls. First, his classmate that has been rejecting him since Grade 11, that experiencing some sort of attraction to a supernatural creature. The next one is his ex. His ex doesn't know that she is the daughter of Dracula so she is experiencing some transformation and some creepy dreams so she will seek help from her best friend. The funny thing here is the best friend is the same girl that has rejected the guy who has powers. These stories could be based on my personal experiences and the fact that my grandfather was a former healer, and my parents said that he has some "agimat". The last one of this genre is based on the ideology of the film "Split" where people that have Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) could have powers too. I know this could be a miss because some people will think that I will put the stigma on DID patients, but I want my story to be an awareness that we should not put the stigma on these people and they could still live their life even if they have (DID). This story will focus on a girl that 2 personalities. One is a normal girl next door and the other one is a fierce girl that has some superpowers (seems normal so I should study how it changes), but here's a catch, her changes only happen at night, so she is saving people at night. On the other hand, her love interest is a former PMA student but was kicked out because he was allegedly trying to kill one of his classmates. I still think who will be the nemesis of these two people. I like writing supernatural and superhero stories because I love these genres and I also want to incorporate some creatures that are also part of our culture like kapre, aswang, duwende, etc. Let's proceed to last.

Lastly, my versions of some of my favorite movies. First, I will write based on Amadeus Cho, a half American half Korean genius teenager in the Marvel universe. What I will do is I will turn him into a Filipino genius who is living in the province and hacked S.H.I.E.L.D's website, who is trying to build a young superhero team headed by Spider-Man.  I want to write about Spider-Man because I love him and I was inspired by what he is doing as a teenager. The other one is based on The Ring and its cursed videotape. The story is the videotape reached the Philippines and victimized a group of teenagers, but this will focus on two lovers, the guy who is on the said group of teenagers and watched the videotape, the girl, on the other hand, watched the videotape so she could save his boyfriend (who in the end will be the new Sadako because she will be possessed by Sadako, and btw the girl's name will be Samara, the American name of Sadako). It will also cover a story of a policeman who witnesses the death of his partner because of Sadako. I also want to write about The Ring because that film scares me as a kid and it became one of my favorite films when I became older.
