My Favorite Bands Part 4: Green Day

Good day everyone. I take some break in blogging because I do some uniform concepts in Photoshop (and the fact that I can't send the links of my blogs to my patrons in Facebook makes me super frustrated). But now, I'm back again to share you my fourth favorite band, Green Day.     Composed of Billie Joe Armstrong in vocals and lead guitar, Mike Dirnt in bass and backup vocals, and Tre Cool (real name: Frank Edwin Wright III) in drums (and some touring members), Green Day was formed in 1987 at East Bay, California. As of now, they have released 13 albums: 39/Smooth (1990), Kerplunk (1991), Dookie (1994), Insomniac (1995), Nimrod (1997), Warning (2000), American Idiot (2004), 21st Century Breakdown (2009),  ¡Uno!,  ¡Dos!, and ¡TrĂ©!   (all in 2012), Revolution Radio (2016), and Father of All...(censored) (2020). (I think you can guess where did I saw this).     I started listening when I was a kid. I listen "21 Guns" and "Boulevard of ...

My Favorite Bands Part 3: OneRepublic

Last week, I've featured two of my favorite bands, Paramore and Coldplay. This time around another band will be featured. It's OneRepublic.     Formed in 2002 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, OneRepublic consist of Ryan Tedder in vocals, Zach Filkins and Drew Brown at guitars, Brent Kutzle in bass and cello, Eddie Fisher in drums, and Brian Willet in keyboard. As of now, they have released 5 albums: Dreaming Out Loud (2007), Waking Up (2009), Native (2013), Oh My My (2016), and Human (2020). (2 guesses if where did I found this info)     I discovered OneRepublic when I still was a kid. My dad always sang "Apologize", their first hit and the song that started the rise of OneRepublic. That is also the start of me loving their songs.     The reason why I love OneRepublic is I love their sound. It is pleasing to ears and sound like orchestra. And I like the voice of Ryan Tedder. Some of their song brings hope and hapiness and some were heartb...

L.O.V.E (Not A Acronym)

Love, love, love. That is always on my life. I love my family. They love me. I love my friends. They also super duper love me. But let's talk about love and my lovelife.      Yeah, love for me is a great thing. I am here because my mom and dad love each other. Because of love, I live my life. Love is not just about family, loved ones and friends, it's also about the environment and you're society. What I am trying to say is love is everywhere . So love your family, love your friends, love Philippines, and love Earth. That's what we need right now.         But let's talk about my "lovelife". Since I was born in 2003, I have never had a serious or even not serious relationship (in short, No Girlfriend Since Birth {shorter, NGSB}) . But hey, the list of my crushes is like a grocery receipt, too many to count. I have a crush since I was Day Care (yeah good ol' days) until now. Well, I am a guy that is easily attracted to girls (...

My Favorite Bands Part 2: Coldplay

Good day everyone. Previously, I talked about Paramore and how I became in love with them. Now I will talk about a childhood band that is favorite of my mom and became my favorite too. It's Coldplay.     Composed of Chris Martin, Johnny Buckland, Guy Berryman, and Will Champion, they are formed in 1996 in University College London, where they study. They have released 8 albums named Parachutes (2000), A Rush of Blood to the Head (2002), X&Y (2005), Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends (2008), Mylo Xyloto (2011), Ghost Stories, A Head Full of Dreams (2014), and Everyday Life (2019). (Again, I saw this on Wiki).     It all started when my mother always sang to me Yellow, one of their first hit. My mom always sing that song especially when it is played in radio. That's why I know Coldplay ever before YouTube have eaten my life. Their songs are always on our cellphones.     Why Coldplay? Well, because their songs are pleasant to th...

My Favorite Bands Part 1: Paramore

Just like what I've wrote about last time, I listen to music this past quarantine. And then this quarantine, I started to like another band. And that is Paramore.     Composed of Hayley Williams, Taylor York, and Zac Farro, Paramore was formed in 2004 at as of now  released 4 albums:  All We Know Is Falling (2005), Riot! (2007), Brand New Eyes (2009), Paramore (2013), at After Laughter (2017). (I saw this on Wiki)     I know the tone and melody of some of their songs but I don't know the title and lyrics like "Decode" and "I Caught Myself" and I always hear that on our radio before. Let's say that the chorus of "That's What You Get" is the only line from their song that I know. But, the first Paramore song that I know is "Monster", a song that is released in 2011 and used in Transformers: Dark of The Moon. Well I've watch the music video of that song in Studio 23 before (that channel used to have Myx shows in the morning...

My Life During Quarantine

What happened 2020?      This is always on my mind this quarantine. You expect a good year but then, it turn out to be not a good year. A nearby volcano has exploded and the untimely death of your childhood idol in January, and then this virus swept the whole world. This virus is called Corona Virus Disease 2019 or COVID-19, formerly called as Novel Corona Virus.     Since March 15, we are not able to go out because of lockdown restrictions. Since our festival of our patron saint is in March 19, there are no visitors came in our house. I think the last time I go out before late June was March 18, when me and my dad get some chairs north of our house. But hey, I have so many things in my house.     As usual, I'm using our family laptop. Going to Facebook to chat with my friends and YouTube to watch some videos. Now, I also starting to work on my Photoshop skills.  It is needed in Grade 12 so I practice. I will be having a new pr...
