Being Rejected

“We all learn lessons in life. Some stick, some don’t. I have always learned more from rejection and failure than from acceptance and success.”  –   Henry Rollins (source:  everydaypower.com )     Good day guys. I still know some of you are busy so I think this could be a great time to entertain you (especially to my readers outside my school). Today, I am here to share with you things about being rejected. Why you are rejected and How to recover from it. This will be also my first advice blog. Without further ado, let's get this started.     What is rejection? based on  Merriam- Webster Dictionary ,  the action of  rejecting or  the state of being  rejected, and based on  Merriam- Webster Dictionary  rejected is  not given approval or acceptance. To sum it up, rejection really means that you are not accepted or given by a certain person.      Let's proceed to why you are rejected. The pr...

Elementary Days Y'all

Good day everyone. I know some of my readers are busy right now but don't bother, I will be busy in the next few days. Today, I will tell to you some stories about my Elementary days and why I miss that times. I hope you will enjoy my blog. Spoiler Alert: I am academically inclined when I was elementary.     Even if our elementary school has a Kindergarten class on it, I didn't take that and I go straight to Grade 1 (which is now illegal because of the K12 curriculum). I think my reason for that is I am eager to be in Grade 1 and I just don't like Kinder I guess. My mom and dad said that I am just only included in Grade 1 because well I just like to be in Grade 1. and in a surprising turn of events, I became the 3rd Honor in first grading, meaning I will stay at Grade 1 and prove to the Grade 1 teacher that I ain't a pushover. Fun fact: I didn't cry on the first day of school in Day Care or Grade 1. Also, even if I am afraid of my teacher, who is by the way...

Forgetting Past and Welcoming A New Start

“Letting go means to come to the realization that some people are a part of your history, but not a part of your destiny.” ―  Steve Maraboli (source:  goodreads.com )     Good day guys. I'm back with another blog for you. To be honest with you, I feel exhausted and I still have a video to shoot and summative test that to be answered so fight fight fight. Well, this is one of my media to expose my exhaustion. I'm here to tell you what happens when you talk to your former crush. Again, to be honest, it is still not sinking in, but I hope you will learn from my story.      It's just a usual Tuesday morning. I am waiting for the weekly video conference with our adviser, which by the way I missed because my laptop hangs. After I joked about it to the people who've attended that video conference, I have an idea to send  one of my blog posts  to my ex-crush when I was a junior high school because well, it's just past Valentine's so why not. And then...

Happy Birthday Sissy!!!

"Don't regret another birthday, the good news is that you are alive and can celebrate it."  -Catherine Pulsifer     Good day everyone. Just like what I have done before, I will write about a friend. Today, join me as we celebrate the birthday of one of our readers. I will tell you some stuff about her and what makes a great person.     Based on what I have asked her, she was born in Trece Martirez City, Cavite (she doesn't specify the name of that hospital, but I have an idea). She is living in Mendez with her 2 siblings. She is a proud part of the LGBTQ+ community (equality for y'all🌈🌈🌈 {Judge me. People right now accept LGBTQ+ community}) We've become classmates since Grade 11, but she is familiar to my school. Just like all of us, she loves pets. Just like me, she loves Paramore (speaking of Paramore, Hayley Williams just released an album called Flowers and Vases. Check it out on Spotify and YouTube. I listened to some of her songs and it is great). She...

Valentine's Day Y'all

Je T Aime,  Te Amo ,  Ti Amo ,  Kimi o ai shiteru,  Wo ai ni,  Tangsinul Sarang ha yo,   Namumutan ta ka,  Nahigugma ko nimo,   Mahal Kita. These are some examples of the of I love you in other languages. Today, we are celebrating Valentine's Day. I will share with you what I think is the purpose of this special day and what makes this day special to me.     Valentine's Day is really a feast day of St. Valentine, a Christian martyr who was killed and buried on this very same day. Trivia: he is also the patron saint of Epilepsy. There is still the unknown origin of why Valentine's Day is associated with love but, some say that it is started in the Roman Empire where there is a purification festival called  Lupercalia . It is celebrated for purification and health but has a slight connection with fertility because of health but, not with love. But as time passed, it became the festival of love where you...
